• Designate I-787 as a state road to ease design restrictions.

• Begin conversations to remove the Canadian Pacific RR tracks north of the Port.

• Make the South Mall Expressway an at-grade boulevard.

• Lower the Dunn Memorial bridge and make it a lift bridge to reduce elevated access points that are restrictive to communities and non-car access.

(Note: like the currently proposed Livingston Ave. Bridge)

• Consider recapturing part of the Erie Canal Lock 1 basin.

• Create a new pedestrian bridge to both waterfronts as Rensselaer and Albany can prosper together.

• Maximize the use of alternative transportation methods.

(pedestrian, bikes, scooters, boats, trolleys, buses, etc.)
